This was the best part of our trip as they took utmost care and attention to every details of what we like,what we don't and what can make our experience the best.
They did an awesome job from the time they picked us from the station till the drop.
Everything was so well planned and well executed from food to places to visit to keeping the time in mind and minute details like keeping water bottles in car.
Loved their house l... so beautifully decorated and made with love.

A cozy French countryside escape with unforgettable WWII history - perfectly planned by Farland Experiences

While planning our trip to Europe, we wanted to explore the lesser-known side of France-its rural charm, countryside vibes, and places loved by locals. We were also keen to visit parts of the WWII Atlantic Wall, including the bunkers and museums. A day trip from Paris wouldn't have done justice to this experience, as it would've felt rushed and superficial.
A friend recommended Farland Experiences, and that's when I got in touch with Sneha, one of the founders. From there, everything just fell into place. She and her husband, Alex, crafted a personalized tour for us, and we opted for their homestay package-which included breakfast, station pickup and drop-off, attraction visits, and entry passes.
Their charming homestay is located in the village of Chavagne. It's beautifully styled with a cozy atmosphere, filled with art, vintage decor, and bathed in natural light. The breakfasts, prepared by the talented hostess, were elaborate and absolutely delicious-we couldn't have asked for more.
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, exploring parts of the Bretagne and Normandy regions. Our itinerary included Rennes city center, Château de Fougères, Mont Saint-Michel, WWII bunkers at Omaha Beach, the Overlord Museum, and the picturesque towns of Dinan, Dinard, and Saint-Malo. They even surprised us with a special WWII bunker visit in Saint-Malo.
Sneha and Alex personally drove us around to all these amazing places. It was truly a highlight of our European adventure.

We just wrapped up our first half-day tour with our lovely guests staying with us for 3 nights—and we took them to Fougères, one of the most underrated gems in Brittany. They were instantly hooked. The sun was out, the air was crisp, and the vibe? Just right.

The highlight was the Château de Fougères—a massive medieval fortress with over 1,000 years of history. It’s one of the largest fortresses in Europe, and walking through it feels like flipping through real-life history pages.
